Best Ever Lamb Burgers

This recipe came from http://www.aminglingoftastes.com/2009/05/best-fresh-ground-lamb-burger-period.html  Of course we couldn’t help modifying it a bit.  Truly, this burger is the best burger of any kind of meat I have ever eaten, hands down.  I love a good beef burger, but the taste of this thing with our grass-fed lamb, feta cheese, spinach, and fresh tomato just can’t be beat.  Here is our version, for the original look it up on the blog above.

1 lb grass-fed ground lamb

4 0z feta cheese (or till it looks right to you)

1 Tbsp parsley

1/2 tsp cumin

1/4 tsp lemon pepper (this is supposed to be sumac, but we couldn’t find any)

black pepper

Mix cheese and spices with the ground meat, make into patties and cook.  We broil ours in the oven but I know that they would be even better grilled.  Serve with fresh spinach, fresh tomato, and feta cheese…Delicious!
