Grass-fed Lamb

Grass-fed Lamb

Our lamb comes from our Saint Croix hair sheep and Khatadin/Dorper hair sheep crosses.  Lamb from these breeds is very mild flavored, tender meat.  We have had more than one customer tell us that this lamb is the best they have ever had!  These lambs are all 100% grass-fed from the time they are born.  They also recieve no hormone implants or routine antibiotics.  As with all of our animals, they are raised on pastures that are free of chemical herbicides, pesticides, or fertilizers.  All of the lambs are either born on our farm or come from other family farms which raise them as we do.  Many people think of lamb as a greasy meat, but this is not the case with our lamb.  Our customers report that our lamb is lean, tender, and tasty without the grease often associated with lamb.
